Shannon Tabor

I graduated from the University of Dayton with my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have been practicing since 2014. Currently I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the State of North Carolina through the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors. Prior to entering the counseling world, I graduated from Ohio University in 2003 with an undergraduate degree in education and was an educator at the middle and high school levels for ten years.
I am trained in EMDR and am also a Somatic Experiencing practitioner. I also have extensive training in Gestalt therapy, Addiction, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Traumatic/Complex grief.

I graduated from Liberty University in 2013 with my Master's Degree in Professional Counseling and practiced for 5 years, with training in EMDR, Level 1 and Sandtray therapy. I no longer provide psychotherapy nor am I licensed, but I've been offering services in Specialized Kinesiology since 2018. You can learn more about my work at justbewellnessllc.com
I also have a Master's Degree in Secondary Education Health and Physical Education from Western Carolina University ('00). I was an educator for 11 years at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, and was the Dean of Women for four years. My undergraduate degree is Human Services, BS, from Montreat College ('97).
